Huron Valley Pace seeks a full-time Resident Care Assistant for the Chelsea, MI location, offering competitive pay of $18.57 - $22.28 per hour. In this role, you will provide essential hands-on care, companionship, and support for residents in a warm and welcoming environment.

The responsibilities include assisting with personal care, supporting mealtime, and monitoring residents' conditions. Candidates are preferred to have a high school diploma and some caregiving experience. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a direct caregiving role preferred.
• Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 35 lbs.
• Previous working knowledge of Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (ADLs) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated.
• Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked.
• Respond quickly to call lights with kindness.
• Report any changes in conditions to leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality while delivering care.

Skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Direct caregiving experience preferred

Ability to lift 35 lbs

Knowledge of EMAR system preferred
