Job summary

Addington Place of Northville is seeking a Care Associate for Memory Care. Starting pay $18 per hour.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, participate in and lead one-on-one and group activities, and help with meals, laundry and basic upkeep in memory care. Requirements include English proficiency, an idea of CNA or CHHA license per state, and basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Qualifications

• Experience with seniors with dementia preferred.
• English proficiency to perform duties and communicate with team.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
• CNA/CHHA license may be required depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind, caring companionship and support to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Lead one-on-one and group activities in Memory Care.
• Help with meals, laundry, and basic housekeeping in memory care.
• Address concerns from residents, families, and staff promptly.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with residents and coworkers.
