Job summary

Brio Living Services in Chelsea, MI is seeking a Hospitality Aide to assist Memory Support residents on a per diem schedule. The role involves transporting residents to meals, helping with activities, and providing companionship while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

You will support dining services by delivering trays, assisting with hydration, and ensuring supplies are stocked. Weekend shifts are required as needed, with a flexible per diem arrangement.

Compensation: $15.92 / hour

Description

Schedule: Per diem | Shifts available for pick-up will vary

Per Diem Agreement: Work an average of five (5) shifts per calendar month. Shifts can be either 4-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts. Two (2) shifts per month must be weekend shifts. Regularly covering weekend shifts is expected. Scheduled shifts will be based on the needs of the department.

What You'll Do: As a Hospitality Aide, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents each day. In this role, you’ll assist with transporting residents to meals and activities, respond to call lights within your scope, and provide companionship through one-on-one interaction. You’ll help keep resident rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked, supporting the care team by handling tasks like making beds, refreshing linens, and maintaining supplies.

You’ll also support dining services by delivering and collecting meal trays, assisting with hydration, and providing snacks or supplements as needed. Behind the scenes, you’ll help ensure equipment is clean, supplies are put away, and the environment remains safe and organized. Throughout your shift, you’ll interact with residents, families, and team members, delivering a high level of customer service while helping create a positive and caring community experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Resident Support – Assist with transporting residents to meals, activities, and other areas as needed.
• Offer Companionship – Provide one-on-one support and meaningful interaction with residents.

• Maintain Equipment & Supplies – Clean resident equipment and restock supplies throughout the shift.
• Promote a Safe Environment – Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
• Support Team Operations – Assist team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Communicate & Document – Share relevant updates with the care team and maintain professionalism at all times.
