Job summary

Greater Green Bay YMCA in De Pere, WI is seeking a Part-Time Member Service Associate to help deliver an exceptional Y experience. You will assist with membership transactions, registrations, and welcome members and guests, both in person and over the phone.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, friendly service, safety, and supporting center operations. Evening hours Wednesdays 5:00 PM–9:15 PM, with opportunities to sub other shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• Six months’ experience in customer service, sales or office operations preferred.
• Strong administrative, organizational, math, and computer skills with attention to detail required.
• Excellent telephone, face to face, and written communication skills tailored to the appropriate audience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required within 60 days and Annual safety training.
• Participation in Listen First Training will occur within the first nine months.

Responsibilities

• Build a positive first impression with a warm smile and personal greeting for all who encounter the YMCA.
• Engage members and families by guiding them to programs and activities.
• Enter data accurately and report daily transactions in Daxko.
• Handle membership transactions and program registrations with exceptional customer service.
• Greet members entering the facility and manage check-in and departure.
• Support fundraising initiatives and promote center information and events.
• Respond to questions and concerns, building collaborative relationships in person and by phone.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; respond in emergencies as needed.
