Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join our care team. The role involves accurate medication administration, documentation, and resident support within a Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Rhode Island Medication Technician Certification.
• Must also be a CNA or CHHA (as required).
• Previous Certified Medication Technician (CMT) experience preferred.
• Experience administering oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous medications required.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to follow clinical instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per physician orders and policies.
• Provide medications via oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous routes as allowed.
• Observe residents for responses, document changes, and report events to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed nursing supervision.
• Ensure medications are stored, secured, and accounted for per procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and related care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to promote resident-centered care.
