Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Medication Technician for full-time or part-time roles. The position focuses on safe, accurate medication administration and compassionate daily resident care within a Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care setting.

Responsibilities include administering medications, observing responses, documenting care, and collaborating with licensed staff to support resident health and well-being. Rhode Island certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Rhode Island Medication Technician/Aide Certification.
• Must also be a CNA or CHHA/HHA, as required.
• Previous Certified Medication Technician experience preferred.
• Experience administering oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous meds required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents safely and accurately per orders and policies.
• Provide medications via approved routes and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Document and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with basic resident care under supervision.
• Ensure medications are stored, secured, and accounted for properly.
