Job summary

Vitality Living Lake Forest Community in Sanford, FL is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support our residents. You will administer or assist with medications, maintain records, observe health changes, keep the medicine room organized, and participate in cart audits. Part-time evening shift 3pm-11pm with benefits including 401k and attendance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medications as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following company policy and procedure.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Assist with the completion of medication cart audits.
