Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician in Lincoln, NE. This role supports resident care by administering daily medications with compassion and dignity, helping residents live their lives to the fullest. Evening shifts are available and pay starts at $18.25 per hour.

The position offers a full benefits suite for eligible staff and daily pay options. CPR/First Aid required; active MT Certification or 1+ year elder care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience in elder care.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to follow MAR and six rights of medication administration; learn and use the eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care; supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission 'Whatever it Takes' on shift.
