Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Pipestone, MN is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. You will administer prescribed medications and document outcomes while supporting wellness and recreational activities.

The role requires MN CNA and MN TMA certifications, is full-time with 40 hours weekly, and includes benefits. You will collaborate with the nursing team to ensure safe, quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have MN CNA certification and MN TMA certification.
• Active CNA registration in state of practice or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• State-specific CMA/TMA credentials may be required by facility in respective state.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care, medication administration, and vital signs.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfer, mobility, wellness activities and dining.
