The Medication Assistant (MA) at Good Samaritan Society provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. You will assist with activities of daily living, document outcomes, and support the care plan, including medication administration as delegated.

This full-time evening shift in Luverne, MN requires MN CNA certification and completion of related coursework; a sign-on bonus is offered with eligibility based on experience.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required by the state of employment.
• In Minnesota, the 75-hour course and registry enrollment are required.
• Completion of a state-approved Trained Medication Assistant course when CNA is obtained.
• Minimum age 18; strong record of continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and assist with daily living activities.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs and care outcomes; communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, meals, mobility, and personal care.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and document outcomes.
