Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Auburn, NE seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse.

You will administer prescribed medications as delegated, document outcomes, monitor vital signs, and support wellness activities while promoting a positive dining and living experience. This full-time role requires compassion, compliance with state regulations, and teamwork in a caring, faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) registration preferred or able to obtain within 120 days.
• Ability to administer medications under supervision and follow state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and basic nursing care as directed.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and document outcomes.
• Collect vital signs, monitor health changes and communicate to the charge nurse.
• Support wellness, recreational activities and a positive dining experience.
