Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform, evaluate, and monitor laboratory tests within established protocols, ensuring accurate results and timely reporting.

You will calibrate and maintain instruments, supervise staff, and participate in quality control and education, with a 2nd shift start and rotating holidays, in a setting that supports professional growth and patient care.

Qualifications

• ASCP MT/MLS certification must be obtained within 1 year.
• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests as authorized within established protocols, selecting and performing additional procedures when indicated.
• Monitors workflow and makes necessary adjustment to complete work in an appropriate time frame.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance, validity and appropriateness.
• Calibrates, maintains, and repairs instruments and equipment.
• Provides training and guidance to staff and students; supports education protocols.
• Ensures compliance with CAP/Regulatory standards and quality control processes.
