Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or Laboratory Sciences required.
• ASCP credential preferred (Licenses and Credentials).
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience required.
• Basic understanding of lab equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, and reporting results.
• Maintain records showing proficiency testing samples are tested properly.
• Adhere to quality control policies and calibrations, and document actions.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and report them to supervision.
• Document corrective actions when test systems deviate from specs.
