Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. seeks experienced Medical Assistants to become trained instructors for year-round classes at the Hopkinsville campus. Roles include Primary Scheduled Instructors and Secondary Instructors for teaching assistant duties, PRN as needed.

Classes are in the evening Tue/Thu, 5:30–10, totaling 9 hours per week. Expect to teach up to 24 students, cover clinical and administrative skills, and follow Ross curriculum. Prior teaching interest and flexibility are valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in medical assisting and formal training from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in day or evening sessions.
• This is a part-time position; many instructors work a combo of morning & evening hours.
