Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. Hopkinsville campus is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor for evening classes (T/Th 5:30-10, about 9 hours per week).

The role requires 3+ years of medical assisting experience and formal training from an accredited institution, with the ability to obtain a national certification. Responsibilities include teaching Medical Assisting to a class of up to 24 students, delivering lectures from Ross curriculum, and coordinating with flexible morning/evening

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Individuals without a formal education, must have with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in the medical field and a national certification.
• Interest in teaching or prior experience
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
• Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Many instructors work a combo of morning & evening hours - we are open to your availability.
