Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant Instructor to teach evening/weeknight classes at the Owensboro campus. This part-time role covers clinical and administrative skills with up to 24 students per class.

Sessions run 4.5 hours, day or evening; typical schedule is 9–27 hours weekly. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in medical assisting and a national certification, plus interest in teaching and ability to travel to sites if needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in medical assisting and formal training from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the building.
• Ability to travel to visit clinical sites or attend meetings if needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
• Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• This is a part-time position, typically 9-27 hours per week.
