Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. Owensboro campus seeks a Medical Assistant Instructor for evening classes. The role supports year-round instruction with primary and substitute duties as needed, teaching up to 24 students per session and following Ross lesson plans.

Schedule is Mon-Thu evenings, 5:30-10, with a 9–27 hour per week target. Qualified applicants have 3+ years in medical assisting, formal training, and the ability to obtain national certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assisting classes with up to 24 students.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations from Ross curriculum.
• Schedule includes 4.5 hour sessions in day or evening blocks.
• Part-time role, typically 9–27 hours per week.
