Job summary

Century Park Associates in Georgia is hiring a Certified Medication Technician (QMAP) to deliver quality assisted living services under the Resident Care Director. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a current Med Tech or QMAP certification (CPR by hire or within 90 days), and ideally one year of senior services experience.

Schedules run 3:00–11:00 pm for full-time or part-time, with weekend on-call.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Med Tech or QMAP certification; certification must remain current.
• CPR certification by hire or within 90 days of hire; must remain current.
• One year experience in senior services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies for medication administration, medication ordering, and delivery.
• Immediately reports med errors or missing medications.
• Provides quality care to residents as indicated on the care plan.
• Promotes resident independence in accordance with the service plan.
• Complies with infection control guidelines.
• Ensures proper transfer of medication cart between shifts, including narcotic count.
• Documents medication administration in EHR per policy.
• Participates in community Lifestyles activities, events and outings.
• Demonstrates patience, compassion and integrity with residents.
