The Oaks in Muskegon, MI is hiring a Med Tech/Caregiver to deliver medication administration and supportive daily care. You will work under the Nurse Manager or Wellness Director, combining clinical duties with hands-on caregiving to ensure safety, dignity, and engagement for residents.

An initial 3-day training program will prepare you for work within about 3 weeks, with tools you can use throughout your healthcare career.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, or geriatric care is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Administer medications and manage MARs per physician orders.
• Take vital signs and perform basic tests (e.g., glucose).
• Provide daily living assistance (bathing, grooming, feeding).
• Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and common areas; assist with housekeeping.
• Document care, report changes to nursing staff, and communicate with families.
