Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Leominster is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in Med Surg, using the nursing process from admission to discharge. Massachusetts nursing license and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS as applicable.

You will assess patients, plan care, administer medications, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes. Evening shifts with a potential signing bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS certification required for every RN.
• BSN degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients and develop care plans including discharge planning.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care in the unit.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement and governance activities.
