Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process from admission through discharge. You will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate discharge planning while supervising and delegating within the care team.

The role requires Massachusetts licensure, BLS, and ACLS in select units; BSN preferred. A commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork is essential in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN.
• ACLS required in select areas.
• PALS required in select areas.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for delivery and management of patient care.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment as per procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates to team members per competency and job description.
