Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Material Controller for the 1st shift in Sumter, SC. The position runs 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an hourly rate of 17.68/hour and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, updating inventory in Eaton systems, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety, quality, and lean processes are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management or related field.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and transact in Eaton systems to maintain accurate inventory and support timely order fulfillment.
• Perform cycle counts, document, store, stage and issue materials for production.
• Support production line requirements and ensure quality through adherence to Eaton standards.
• Prepare shipping paperwork, invoices and labels for shipments.
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area and participate in continuous improvement.
