Job summary

OPW is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Whitsett, NC facility. The role runs Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with overtime as needed.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, respond to requests, and complete projects under the Maintenance Supervisor's direction. The ideal candidate has five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, strong trades knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work with

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of skilled trades and the tools/equipment used there.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective actions on assigned equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Analyze equipment problems, plan corrective actions, and verify repairs before returning to production.
• Inspect, test, and measure products using gauges and instruments, recording data as required.
• Support change-overs and PMs to ensure on-time production and quality.
