Job summary

Autonomy Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Monroe, NC to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and respond to breakdowns with timely repairs.

The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and execute timely repairs to keep production running.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and complete maintenance work orders accurately.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to plan and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Maintain parts inventory and ensure proper documentation of all maintenance work.
• Follow all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
