Job summary

Aztalan Bio LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and support safe, reliable plant operations.

The role runs Mon–Fri from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with a $2 shift premium and competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO and sick time. You will participate in on‑call rotations to assist outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Welding and/or fabrication experience and certification as applicable.
• Experience working with conveyors, pumps, valves, etc.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical blueprints and ability to operate various mechanical equipment.
• Forklift certified; strong safety and math aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and planned maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Analyze mechanical failures and complete repairs in accordance with EHS rules.
• Complete ad-hoc mechanical maintenance tasks quickly and professionally as requested by supervision.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation to address off-hours maintenance needs and emergencies.
• Maintain production equipment, renew/repair parts, and assist with component conversions when needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment including pumps, heat exchangers, conveyors, valves, and fans.
