Job summary

Alleguard is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform multi-craft maintenance across machines, buildings, and systems. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

The position offers a 4:00 p.m.–2:00 a.m. schedule Monday through Thursday with weekend overtime as needed. Pay ranges from $29 to $34 per hour based on experience, plus a $1 per hour shift premium.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.).
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
• Computer savvy; IT training is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma; vocational school is a plus.
• Professional certifications (CMRP or HVAC) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to maintain machines, buildings, and systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep equipment and facilities running smoothly.
• Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using manuals and schematics.
• Order parts and supplies as needed from catalogs or storerooms.
• Install or repair wiring, pipes, and electrical components as required.
• Follow environmental and safety policies and regulations.
