Job summary

Alleguard is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Monticello, AR to perform electrical maintenance, service and repair of electro-mechanical systems on a Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm schedule. Pay is $20 per hour.

You will repair and install equipment, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and follow safety procedures to keep production lines running efficiently. 5–10 years in industrial electrical maintenance and strong troubleshooting are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• 5-10 years of experience in Industrial Electrical Maintenance.
• Ability to work professionally under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills is an asset.
• Good Analytical and attention to detail skills.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Ability to plan jobs and see all potential problem areas.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to multi-task.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to run conduit, pull wires and wires in electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, align, dismantle, and move equipment / production lines.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Perform equipment change-over and production line set ups.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations.
• Follows and ensures all H&S processes are followed daily.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain high standards for housekeeping and cleanliness of the maintenance shop.
• Participate in the implementation of various improvement projects.
• Trouble shoot and repair problems on machines and equipment.
• Works closely with the Maintenance Manager to complete preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Keeps updated records of work performed.
• Optimize equipment safety and reliability including the support of preventative maintenance initiatives.
