Job summary

KMG Hotels seeks a Maintenance Person for the Aloft and Element in North Kansas City. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep guest rooms and public areas in optimal condition, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The role is evening and weekend oriented, with hours and start times negotiable. Responsibilities include supporting preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and maintaining hospitality standards across the property to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license for the applicable state required.
• HVAC Certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel equipment to ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet hospitality standards.
• Oversee and participate in the Preventative Maintenance program.
• Assist in inspections of fire safety systems and equipment as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize guest disruption.
• Coordinate repairs with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Adhere to Marriott Hospitality standards and safety regulations.
