Massachusetts Trial Court is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Edward Brooke building in Boston, MA. The role involves maintenance tasks across trades, routine inspections, and coordination with sub contractors. Shift is 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with potential for overtime during emergencies.

This union position falls under the CBA with OPEIU Local 6. Starting pay is $49,319.66 per year, with a maximum of $72,689.24, and eligibility for a $1.00/hour shift differential for qualifying

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related work experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Applicable trades certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in a variety of skilled trades duties.
• Provide cleaning assistance to courthouses and grounds as needed.
• Assist in repair, installation and testing of various systems and equipment.
• Conduct systems and building checks.
• Check grounds, elevators, fire extinguishers and bathrooms for needed repairs.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance to equipment and tools.
• Perform painting and general building repairs.
• Escort and work with sub contractors.
