Job summary

Massachusetts Trial Court, Clinton District Court, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and skilled trade tasks protecting facilities infrastructure. The role includes daily site inspections and assisting in varied maintenance activities under supervision.

Scheduled for full-time days with potential overtime; travel between courts in the cluster may be required. Union position covered by the appropriate collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related work experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
• Trades certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of skilled trades duties.
• Provide cleaning assistance to courthouses and grounds as needed.
• Assist in repair, installation and testing of various systems and equipment.
• Provide systems and building checks.
• Check grounds, elevators, fire extinguishers and bathrooms for repairs.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
