Job summary

Watergate at Landmark is seeking an Evening Maintenance Mechanic to keep common areas and building systems safe, clean, and fully functional. The role involves responding to emergency service calls during the scheduled shift and performing routine maintenance with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a solid maintenance background, and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and internal teams while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong equipment maintenance and general maintenance & repair skills applicable to residential and building systems.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a multi-building environment.
• Knowledge of basic building codes, safety standards, and proper use of tools and maintenance equipment.
• Prior experience in property, facility, or residential maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to lift moderate weights, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks safely over the course of a shift.
• Reliable communication, time management, and record-keeping skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety, appearance, and functionality of all common areas and building systems.
• Operate lighting and property amenities, and respond to emergency service calls during the scheduled shift.
• Adhere to safety standards and guidelines; communicate with residents and internal departments as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and document activities for traceability.
