Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Associate I for the Mount Carmel, PA facility. This role requires diagnosing and repairing production equipment, following schematics, and upholding preventive maintenance standards.

You will lead coworkers on shifts, maintain records, and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Expect evening shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am with a $1 per hour differential and an initial starting pay of $23.68 per hour, plus opportunities for growth through training and development

Qualifications

Three to five years of experience in a related field.
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/electro-mechanical training desired.
Able to read schematics and use precision instruments (micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faulty production equipment with minimal supervision using schematics, manuals and drawings.
Identify faulty parts and create requisitions for spares or replacements.
Maintain spare parts inventory and follow store room procedures.
Maintain records and adherence to maintenance procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Lead shift tasks as directed by maintenance supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
