Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at our Berwick, ME distribution center. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors and electrical/controls equipment to keep operations efficient and safe.

Qualified candidates have electronic tech training and hands-on electrical experience, plus PLC/PC programming know-how and a willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly pay plus a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience.
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on electrical experience (480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC).
• Advanced troubleshooting with PCs and industrial control devices/networking.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to leadership.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, dock equipment, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PLCs, servo and VFD drives, and I/O devices.
• Diagnose electrical problems using blueprints and diagnostic tools.
• Assist other maintenance technicians in repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Initiate and implement new procedures to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment.
