Job summary

Dessert Holdings Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic for a maintenance lead role on the evening shift. You will repair electrical and mechanical defects and support line-centric teams in a fast-paced bakery environment.

The position offers bonus eligibility after six months and one year, health and welfare benefits plus 401k, and a shift differential. Overtime including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years industrial mechanical experience or a two-year technical degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
• Must read/write/speak English; Spanish helpful.
• Must complete HACCP Certification.
• Forklift License or training required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of ovens and bakery equipment is helpful.
• Experience with CMMS documentation

Responsibilities

• Identify and repair electrical and mechanical defects.
• Lead maintenance for assigned area teams to support line centric Teams.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance Plans to reduce downtime.
• Participate in RCA on equipment failures and suggest fixes.
• Train operators on maintenance techniques and procedures.
• Document all maintenance work within CMMS.
• Support QA programs including SQF, HACCP and GMP compliance.
