Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our onsite manufacturing team. You will identify and repair electrical and mechanical defects, lead maintenance activities, and support continuous improvement in line with quality standards.

Requirements include 5+ years in industry or a 2-year technical degree, HACCP and forklift readiness within 90 days, and competency in MS Office. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required as part of a bonus eligible role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Industrial Mechanical experience or a two-year technical degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English, Spanish helpful.
• Must complete HACCP certification and forklift training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Identify and repair electrical and mechanical defects.
• Lead maintenance teams and execute Preventative Maintenance Plans.
• Support RCA investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Train operators on maintenance techniques and safe operation.
• Document all maintenance work in CMMS and support PM program.

Skills

Industrial mechanical experience

Education

Two-year technical degree (preferred)

HACCP Certification

Forklift license (or training within 90 days)

AIB Bakery Equipment training (helpful)
