Design Tanks, LLC in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Full-time Evening Maintenance Tech to cover the 2:30 pm–midnight shift. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and keeping manufacturing equipment operating smoothly.

You will use testing instruments and hand tools, locate fault sources, and adjust machinery with precision. The position includes safety-conscious work and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school education or technical training.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting performing maintenance duties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment on the night shift (2:30 pm - midnight).
• Locate problem sources using testing instruments and devices.
• Adjust functional parts using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs and related equipment.
• Observe machinery in operation to identify irregularities and potential failures.
• Dismantle devices to replace defective parts with hoists, cranes and hand/power tools.
• Inspect used parts with calipers, micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Inform production of routine maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment and instruments.
• Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies; place orders as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures to maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Now Hiring: Full-time Evening Maintenance Tech

Location: Sioux Falls, SD | Pay: $22 - $26 per hour, depending on experience

In This Evening Maintenance Tech Role, You'll:

• Work: The night shift from 2:30 pm - midnight, with overtime opportunities
• Ensure the smooth operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
• Locate the sources of problems using various testing instruments and devices.
• Adjust functional parts of equipment with hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and other tools.
• Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen for irregularities to identify potential problems.
• Dismantle devices to remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
• Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance needs.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels and placing orders.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to get the job done efficiently.
• Provide mechanical maintenance information and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures and regulations.
