Job summary

Design Tanks in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a full-time Tank Quality Control Tech to ensure every fiberglass tank meets our quality standards on the production floor.

You will perform standardized quality checks, verify measurements, and collaborate with supervisors and engineers to drive improvements. This role offers a 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule with overtime, health insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, and growth opportunities.

A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY:

As our Tank Quality Control Tech, from the moment you step onto the production floor, your focus is on excellence. You're conducting standardized quality checks, carefully verifying measurements, and reviewing tanks for flawless finishes. You communicate with your team to identify improvements, provide guidance when needed, and ensure every tank meets both company and customer expectations. You also collaborate directly with supervisors and engineers, tackling complex projects that keep production moving forward. With every detail you review, you're helping uphold our reputation for quality craftsmanship.

• Excellent basic math skills
• Visual awareness
• Willingness to learn and receive on-the-job training

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and with a team
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds overhead
• Ability to stand for 10 hours per day
