Job summary

MicroPort Orthopedics, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Service Specialist to perform maintenance on CNC and Manual equipment and to assist outside OEM technicians with repair and setup of new equipment.

The role requires troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, reading blueprints, replacing defective components, and verifying operation. A valid driver's license is required, and forklift/aerial licenses should be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred: Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field.
Driver's license is required; forklift and aerial licenses required or obtainable within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical units and controls to locate malfunctions.
Use blueprints, machine specs, and schematics to guide repair procedures.
Remove/replace defective components; test repairs on PC boards, power supplies, and controls.
Adjust electrical, thermal, and timing devices to machine specs.
Start repaired or new equipment to verify operation readiness.
Comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
Travel to local vendors for parts with a valid driver's license.
Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Assist outside contractors (fire systems, inspectors) as needed.
Monitor daily Industrial Wastewater Discharge Points.
