Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial or CNC maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of CNC machine controls and manufacturing equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, including reading electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in precision alignment and machine repair.
• Experience troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Proficiency using diagnostic equipment, electrical meters, and calibration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues involving CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar systems.
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Install, test, and commission new equipment and machine upgrades.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, meters, and calibration equipment to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and applicable regulations.
