Job summary

MicroPort is seeking a Maintenance Service Specialist for the 2nd shift to perform maintenance on CNC and manual equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance, with a 3:00–11:30pm schedule and a 5% shift premium.

Driver’s license and forklift/aerial licenses are required or to be obtained within specified timeframes. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, be able to read blueprints, and collaborate with OEM

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field strongly preferred.
• 1 year experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician or Machinist.
• 3 years' experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician with electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and evaluate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical units and controls to determine the source of malfunction.
• Use blueprints, machine specs, and schematics to determine repair procedures.
• Remove and replace defective units, controls, or components; test and repair PC boards, power supplies, and control stations.
• Adjust electrical, thermal, and timing devices to machine specifications.
• Start repaired and/or new equipment to verify readiness for operation.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
