Job summary

Kraft Heinz Beaver Dam Plant is seeking a Project Technician to maintain and repair production equipment, support plant improvements, and train staff on equipment operation. The role requires reading blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with other departments on upgrades.

2nd shift schedule from 5PM to 1AM with possible weekend work; starting wage is $34.00/hr plus $2/hr shift premium.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge of machines, repair and maintenance including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Troubleshooting to identify causes and solutions for operating errors.
• Reading equipment manuals, blueprints, sketches, and maintenance work orders.
• Ability to follow site safety standards (LOTO, PPE).

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines corrective actions using blueprints, manuals, or catalogs.
• Dismantles machines to access parts using hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs pipe systems, machinery, or equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance on pumps, belts, fluids, and related components.
• Reads and follows equipment manuals, blueprints, sketches, and maintenance work orders.
