Job summary

RTX is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 2nd shift position in Manchester, IA. You will perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience. You will work both independently and as part of a team, following PM programs and safety SOPs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of machinery and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Maintenance Management System (Enfor) and MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures.
• Trouble shoot and repair electronic and mechanical problems on equipment.
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs facility mechanical components and electrical systems.
• Performs machine repair and preventative maintenance per PM programs.
• Provides support in development and implementation of facility upgrades.
• Maintains paperwork to document repair and preventative maintenance work.
• Working with chemicals and maintaining Hazardous Waste manifests.
• Complies with SOPs and safety policies.
