Job summary

Liberty Diversified International is seeking a Machine Operator I to safely produce quality corrugated products. You will lead a small crew, set up orders, perform quality checks, and communicate issues to maximize equipment efficiency.

The role reports to a Production Supervisor at our Omaha, NE facility and requires attention to safety and process adherence. The position emphasizes reliability for overtime, weekends, and holidays with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for skill growth

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED and 2+ years in manufacturing or 3+ years if no education.
• Experience with computers including typing, printing, and data entry.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders according to customer specs and prepare tools for jobs.
• Perform quality checks by inspecting first articles and subsequent items.
• Enter production metrics into electronic systems to track progress, quality, and downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to leaders and troubleshoot with the team.
• Assist Assistant Machine Operators as needed and support maintenance for minor repairs.
