Job summary

Liberty Diversified International, Inc. in Golden Valley, MN is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator to safely produce quality corrugated products. You will support machine operators, set up orders per specs, perform quality checks, stack orders, and communicate issues in a small team.

You may assist finishing machines (gluers, stitchers, slitter, saw) as needed. This full-time role reports to a Production Supervisor at our Golden Valley facility, with opportunities to contribute to production

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Support machine operation by assisting with setup of orders per customer specs.
• Assist with quality checks by inspecting first articles and throughout orders.
• Monitor production metrics and downtime to help maximize efficiency.
• Communicate equipment issues to leadership and assist with troubleshooting.
• Support minor repairs with maintenance team when needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
