Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• Must possess current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and supervise nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures.
• Lead staff meetings and plan shifts, services, and activities.
• Complete and maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and related documentation.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program and surveys.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel and ensure warm, safe resident care.
