Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as an LPN.
• Successful completion of the Progressive Care Orientation Program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• IV certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient data from patients, families, or significant others.
• Conduct 24-hour nursing assessments and provide data to the RN.
• Deliver direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and notify charge nurse.

Skills

Clinical nursing skills appropriate for an LPN

Good oral and written communication skills

Good interpersonal skills

Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
