Job summary

Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a Charge Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for evenings 2p-10p. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents and lead on the unit, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an active LPN license in good standing and current CPR certification, plus completion or on-track completion of the LPN Supervisory Course within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (Iowa).
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of State-approved LPN Supervisory Course or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing assessments of residents' clinical status and contribute to individualized care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver and oversee direct nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy (as permitted), catheter care, and other skilled interventions per physician orders.
