Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Clayton, IN is seeking a 2nd shift Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Logistics Department, including document handling and traffic coordination for inbound consolidations. The role focuses on cost-efficient, standards-compliant processing and leadership of staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and a Bachelor’s in Logistics or Supply Chain with 4+ years of related experience, plus 1 year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred; 4+ years related experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory or lead experience; 3 years industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet, and job-specific software applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide control oversight for all department activities.
• Develop and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Set up files for all documents and records relevant to the consolidation.
• Receive, review and process inbound documentation for an assigned base of accounts.
• Manage pre-alerts daily to determine freight arrivals and notify customers.
