Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Plainfield, IN is seeking an operations supervisor to direct daily labor and ensure safety, productivity, and quality. You will lead outbound associates and coordinate with Resource Planning to resolve production issues.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and adherence to 5S standards. You will train staff, manage workload, and participate in department projects while upholding CEVA's commitment to growth and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for daily workstation assignments of regular and temporary labor
• Achieve performance standards with regards to safety, productivity and quality
• Lead a team of up to 25 fulltime/temporary Outbound associates
• Train, review, and coach associates on department work instructions, processes, procedures, and policies
• Known in the department/group as the “knowledge base” of information
• Responsible for maintaining all defined 5S standards
• Communicates daily with Resource Planning and Operations staff
• Maintains a professional and positive attitude in dealings with co-workers, supervisors, and their departmental personnel at all times
• Actively participate in special department projects
