Job summary

Ryder in Princeton, IN is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for Dedicated Transportation to supervise daily logistics operations, coach staff, and drive efficiency and safety across the team.

The exempt, salaried position runs Monday–Friday from 2:00pm to 11:00pm with a salary range of $55,000–$60,000 per year. Prior transportation and driver supervision experience is preferred, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• 0 to One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review all logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers for optimal shift logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI and performance progress; coach and develop staff.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations; monitor progress and coach team members.
• Address performance issues through corrective action and disciplinary processes; manage labor relations.
